We aim to create beautiful green oases, attracting the birds and the bees and most importantly humans, while producing your own delicious food and medicine.
We design and plant food forests: gardens layered with fruit and nut trees, berry shrubs, and edible herbs, modelled on a natural woodland. All the plants combine and work together to create a healthy garden which humans can thrive in.
The result is a low-maintenance, resilient forest like garden that feeds your bellies, your soil and your soul. Watch your land turn into a thriving ecosystem full of wildlife.

Meet Caspar
After graduating from University of Bristol with a 1st degree in Chemistry, Caspar became fascinated in plants their importance on the planet their uses and their connection to our lives. He then began his own studies into agroforestry and how to grow the happiest healthiest plants possible.
Coming back to England he noticed an empty field on his family land in Sussex. Since then thousands of trees, berry bushes and herbs have been planted in this field. Constantly learning and developing his methods in Sussex while continually studying and developing his skill around the world.
Caspar now looks after his own food forest Goat Grid, a nursery and living example of what is possible when you work with the intelligence of nature’s systems.

I first reached out to Caspar six years ago when I heard that he designed and planted edible food forests. I was immediately fascinated by the concept, and from the moment I met him, his knowledge, passion and determination to make these projects a success were clear to see. I visited his site in Lewes, Sussex, which is sensational and truly inspiring. After seeing what he had created there, I decided to commission Caspar to design and establish an edible food forest at my farm in Leicestershire.
He has supported us through the entire process, from the initial ideas and design through to planting, establishing the site and providing ongoing maintenance and advice. His depth of knowledge is exceptional, and year after year he continues to develop the food forest, always looking at what can be improved, added or planted to benefit the site and help it thrive.
Caspar has also worked closely with my team on the farm, sharing his knowledge and training them so that they can confidently look after the site without him needing to be there all the time. That knowledge transfer has been incredibly valuable.
